Trains

We have been reading non fiction books about trains and learned there are passenger trains and freight trains.  We made trains of our own.

Dictionaries

Some children have been using the classroom dictionaries to look up words.

Tracks

We have made connections that there are different kinds of tracks everywhere, everyday!
We made trains who use tracks to get around. We played with a race track. We drove a fire truck which had wheel tracks.
While outdoors we discovered many different tracks our boots, shovels and sled make.
Tracks are everywhere!

3. Boots
4. Hat, scarf and mitts on last!

We have also been practicing doing our own zippers, with patience and practice, we will all be in the "zipper club" soon!

January

We are all happy to be back at school seeing our friends and doing activities in the classroom. We all enjoyed discussing what we did on our winter break.
Now we are into new beginnings. We are discussing winter and what happens in winter. We are also making portraits of ourselves using loose parts.
