Our house centre

From time to time our students change the house centre into something new.  They have been busy transforming it into a drive-in movie theatre.  Students practice with money as they sell concessions, sound out words for movie titles, and today students started making cars which will be added to the centre.  What a lot of teamwork and imagination have gone into creating our drive-in!

Mr. Thomas

Mr. Thomas came to visit today!  He showed us his uniform from many years ago when he was in the Canadian military police.  Mr. Thomas read the children a story called The Peace Book and discussed how important it is to be kind, friendly, and helpful to others.  He left poppy stickers for the students to wear on Remembrance Day this Wednesday.  Thank you Mr. Thomas for sharing your stories, motorcycle, and uniform with us!
